Its compact dimensions, flexible operation, extensive equipment and high-end audio options make it interesting for ambitious hobby filmmakers as well as for professional applications. Two high-quality, high-speed F1.5 lenses are precisely matched for perfect 3D shots. Thanks to the innovative nano surface treatment, light reflections and ghost images are significantly reduced. The built-in 10x optical zoom (2D: 12x) delivers a focal length range from 32mm wide-angle to 320mm telephoto (2D: 29.8mm to 357mm telephoto).
The optical image stabilizer ensures smooth and clean images. The new dual lens of the Z10000 – with a stereo base of 42 mm – allows 3D macro shots up to a distance of 45 cm.
In terms of equipment, the HDC-Z10000 leaves nothing to be desired: separate adjustment rings for focus, zoom and iris, manual adjustment of the convergence point, double SD card slot, two XLR audio inputs, linear PCM, direct selection buttons and individually assignable user buttons, extendable LCD monitor with 3D display as well as color viewfinder, carrying handle and much more.
